Great Opportunity for Assam and Guwahati Players
All Assam Chess Association in support of Government of Assam and All India Chess Federation is going to organize 1st Guwahati International Grandmaster Tournament from 13th to 20th March, 2022 at Desh Bhakt Tarun Ram Phookan Indoor Stadium at R G Baruah Sports Complex at Dr Bhuvaneswar Baruah, R G Baruah Road near B Baruah College.
Players from more than 15 countries are expected to participate in this prestigious tournament. There will be a total of Rs 15 Lakhs prize will be up for grab.
Local players from Assam and North Eastern States are also has the opportunity to participate in the tournament in the tournament and compete with Grandmaster and International Master. A total of Rs 15 Lakhs will be distributed as cash prizes. There will be special prizes for North East and Assam Players also. Last date of entry is March, 5, 2022. All Players will be given free accommodation.
